Children's Ministry

Sunday School

The Sunday School program at LUMC begins at birth.   From the Nursery to pre-school and up through twelfth grade,  classes are provided that are Christ-centered and  Bible-based.  The Sunday School hour occurs each  Sunday at 11:00 a.m.  and lasts until 11:55 a.m.  Classes  meet in the Education Wing with grade levels listed at  each door.

For information or how to become involved in the  Sunday School program please see Amy Klein, Education Chairperson, Jane Aldrich, Sunday School Superintendent, or John Waite (johnw@lumc.cc), assistant pastor. Call the church office at (269) 367-4800 for contact information.

King’s Club

One of the best opportunities for children ages 3 through the fifth grade to learn about the love of Jesus and the basics of growing up in Christ is to become part of the King’s Club.  This children’s ministry is offered Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. during the school year.  Through the use of music, puppets, crafts, Bible lessons and games the children learn to apply biblical truths to everyday life.  All children are welcome to attend.

For more information see John Waite. Call the church office at (269) 367-4800 for contact information.

Summer Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is held the second week of June  and is for children who are preschool age through 5th grade.  The times are from 9:00am-noon Monday through  Friday.  VBS is a fun time of songs, puppets, crafts,  snacks, games, and, of course, a Bible lesson.

For more  information or to volunteer to help see Grace Brandt. Call the church office at (269) 367-4800 for contact information.
